Recently, our Adult Ministry Coordinator, Gale Yandell, was traveling in North Texas as part of her "day job." She happened to encounter a tornado at close range just outside Rice, TX. Gale has experience as an EMT, and was able to help some people who were injured by the storm. Take a look at this picture. Gale's story is an amazing lesson in how important it is to be ready at all times to use our skills in service of others...in God's name.

wow, that picture doesn't even look real. if i'm ever in a situation like that, Gale is the one i'd want there.
Better yet, I want Gale in that situation, not me! :)
