National Day of Prayer

Today (May 1--goodness, is it already May?) is the National Day of Prayer. All across our country, people will gather to pray for their families, their communities, and for our country. If you are interested in participating in such a prayer gathering locally, you can find information at the National Day of Prayer task force website: click here.

This Saturday, we'll be having our annual National Day of Prayer breakfast at WBC. The breakfast is free of charge and will be held in Parlor D (email me at jeffberger@wbchouston.org if you need more information about how to get there). In addition to good food, we'll hear a message from Gary Long, pastor of Willow Meadows Baptist Church. We will also have corporate prayer times for our church, local, state and national leaders, and other issues of concern. I hope to see you there!
